Mile Markers

Distance earned, not points spent. Every marker is a verifiable thing you put on the odometer — an arrival, a contribution, a photo, a trip story. We keep the ledger transparent so you always know what counted, and why.

Rules of the road

How Mile Markers are earned

No points-shop, no spend mechanics, no expiring balances. Earn rules are public so you can audit your own ledger.

10MM
Park Arrival Verified
Logged on every park_arrival entry in your Logbook. We award the moment the row lands — automatic, no claim required.
25MM
Trip Published
Awarded when you flip a trip from draft to published. One award per trip — re-publishing the same trip won't double-count.
5MM
Photo Upload
Per geotagged photo accepted to the Atlas or attached to a logbook entry. Field-truth visuals are how the map gets honest.
50MM
Atlas Contribution Accepted
When a park submission, correction, or rig-fit datum you sent gets approved by the data team and merged into the Atlas of record.

Mile Markers are an earn-only ledger. We do not run redemption, sweepstakes, or cash-out mechanics. Your balance is a record of contribution, not a wallet.
